You Can’t Trust Anyone That Lacks Integrity

The NO KINGS DAY events are going big all over the country and in several other countries around the globe, in solidarity. Media will be downplaying this because their overlords demand it. Media is owned by the very entities it should be investigating, but instead, billionaires are allowed to gobble up any platform that has enough influence to shine a light on them and their corruption.
Meanwhile….
We have the perfect example of why people should not trust police--- anywhere. Aside from them doing nothing to protect protesters from assaults, violence, kidnapping from masked thugs, they really aren’t who we think they are supposed to be. We watch too many cop shows. We expect integrity, intelligence, compassion, morals, courage, but that’s not at all what we get. We get PR speeches, no accountability, untrained, unskilled investigators conducting sham investigations while the perpetrators laugh their asses off, watching it all go down.
I’m going to use North Dakota’s Fargo PD as the example, but do not think this is an isolated case in the state or the nation. It is merely emblematic of the larger truth about policing throughout the country. It’s gone from bad to worse over the decades.
Instead of becoming more professional, better trained, better educated, higher caliber character, it’s become a cesspool of political cosplaying, bullying, and corruption.
Yes, there are good cops out there, but they are few and far between. We only know they exist because those are the only ones allowed to be featured on shows about cops.
I have seen good, highly skilled, methodical and moral cops do their work and care about their communities. I have worked with and for some of the best, but that was long ago, and they were the ones to warn me not to trust police. They knew, even back then, what was really out there.
Now, back to the exemplar of modern policing.
David Zibolski, Fargo Police Chief is retiring while patting himself on the back for leading the department. He’s got 4 stars on his collar, badges, patches and a name tag all speaking to his position of power and authority.
But in the end, as in the end of his career, he is revealed as a weasel and a coward for his abuse of his power and authority, and for his laziness and lack of basic investigative skills.
He literally lied to get a warrant to arrest a woman in Tennessee for crime she didn’t commit in ND. He used AI. No real investigation, just facial recognition that wasn’t even close. Why do the work when you can punch in AI and get a name? Why investigate to see if the information spat out by a chatbot is even correct? Who cares if you ruin someone’s life and they lose their job, home, dog? Who cares if you keep them locked up for months on end without even the most basic kind of search investigation that would tell you you’d made a mistake?
Rob Port’s column is a must read. He puts it bluntly: ‘IF THE CHIEF HAD INTEGRITY, HE’D ADMIT HIS DEPARTMENT ERRED.’
But he doesn’t have integrity. That means he doesn’t care. He’s probably been bullshitting his way throughout his career and that’s not going to change now that he’s caught red-handed in the biggest scandal, the worst kind of scandal, in the Angela Lipps case.
How do I know he lied to get the warrant to arrest her? Because no judge (unless they too are corrupt and without integrity) is going to sign off on a warrant based on: “she looks similar to the perpetrator”. They’re going to want proof to support the probable cause.
Hell, in my younger years I looked like Gilda Radner and was mistaken for her at the gym, restaurants, and on the sidewalks of LA. Does that mean if I pass bad checks they go and arrest Gilda Radner? Or someone who looks similar to her or me? Even if they’ve never been in the state where the crime occurred? Hell no!
Angela was not wealthy by any means and she was jailed and had to find an attorney who would listen to her. One did. The police reluctantly released her, in the dead of winter, in Fargo, with no warm clothes or shoes. They are claiming they offered her clothes, shoes and transportation home, but given their other lies, just another cover up. It’s just a game to them.
Zibolski is continuing the cover up and therefor his corruption. He has refused to apologize or even admit his mistake. It’s that “Infallibility of the Police” we see so much of in Cop Shows.
He claims he can’t talk about it because he’s still investigating --- Angela Lipps!
What? You think she hired a body double to pass bad checks in your state? Does that even make sense?
This lack of character he is displaying is a big red flag. It means that he is willing to cover up his own failings and lie to the public. He’s the top guy. If he’s doing it, what does that say about how the rest of the department conducts itself? How much “covering up” has been done in the past? Are there any good cops left in that department or do they all go along to get along?
Lack of integrity speaks volumes to lack of courage, lack of morals, weakness and corruption.
I’m sure he’s not alone in this. I’ve seen it all over the country.
But this is one way you get wrongful arrests and convictions while the true perpetrators walk free. If reopening the case would expose your mistake and you can’t admit a mistake, you don’t care about the public, you only care about yourself.
Saying he is still investigating her is a way to continue to slander her reputation and further the harm already done to her, WHILE NOT INVESTIGATING THE REAL CRIMINAL YOU LET GET AWAY.
It’s an abuse of power and authority.
Sadly, there is no penalty for the wrongs being done by police in general. They can lie to you, threaten you, abuse you to get a false confession, so they can close their case AND LET THE REAL PERPETRATORS SKATE AWAY, but if you lie to them they can charge YOU with hindering a police investigation.
Policing is bullying. The whole system needs to change. They want us to see them as ONLY HUMAN when they make mistakes (How dare we hold them to a higher standard!) and don’t want whatever bad cops do to reflect on the entire department—but it does and it should.
If they had integrity at the top, if they had standards for their recruits and officers that involved good character, integrity and perhaps further education than a GED or HS Diploma, we might all be better off. But they don’t. Training is minimal. Racism is rampant and bad behavior is looked upon as “toughness”. Cops who speak up about bad cops are considered “RATS” and they are isolated, shunned, not given back up, while the bad cops have all the support of their brotherhood and their leaders.
You know who else uses the term “RATS”? Mobsters.
That’s what’s wrong with policing these days.
Another quick example is in Florida where a 12-yr old girl reported her father had been raping her. They didn’t investigate her claim or him. They bullied her, called her a liar. Made her write an apology letter to her rapist father and to the police.
She returned next time with video she had taken on her phone when he raped her again. Oh yeah, now they feel bad. They still blame her, a 12-yr old girl, for not convincing them the first time. Her dad’s in prison now. But they literally made her apologize to him and then she was forced to survive by doing their work for them and bringing them the proof.
You see? It’s everywhere.
But we watch too many cop shows and we think all police departments have integrity, and they care about the victims. The truth is that the rank and file follow the leader. When there are bad cops finally getting exposed, it’s not because they were caught and deterred the first time, second, or 100th. It’s because it spilled over into public awareness. You know, “woke”. (Go back to sleep, nothing to see here).
And this infallibility doesn’t stop at corrupt, weak, stupid police agencies.
The DA and AG’s offices thrive on infallibility, like the Pope. They’ll do anything to not have to admit they’re human and they made a mistake. They’ll even pursue the innocent man, a man they know is innocent, based on flimsy, unreliable statements that can’t be supported by any real evidence. They’ll pressure witnesses who speak to that innocence, to change their story to conform to their original timeline.
Kinda funny how 3 or more witness statements that proved Werner Kunkel wasn’t the killer, ALL changed their statements when Lonnie Olson explained to them how important it was that it be changed. And when they didn’t change their statements, they were hidden from 3 different defense attorneys, so his innocence was a hidden fact.
Of course, now, the lack of integrity in the AG’s office wants the ruling that declared he was not rightfully convicted, overturned, on the basis of (wait for it) It wasn’t timely. That’s right. They hid it from defense attorneys for decades. Now that it is found, they say he should’ve found it sooner?
The AG’s office is appealing so they don’t have to let Werner have a breath of fresh air. It amounts to a slander and libel campaign against an innocent man at this point. Everything speaks to his innocence.
Everything speaks to corruption in Lonnie Olson’s career as AG and he is now a Federal Judge, so his infallibility is on the line.
If Zibolski had any integrity he would admit he erred.
If Olson had any integrity he’d admit he erred.
The fact that neither admits they erred speaks only to their corruption.
One let a check kiter continue to rob people by forging checks, and the other let a murderer(s) go uninvestigated for over 30 years.
The Public is not served by these men in positions of power and authority. The community is not protected and no one is safer.
If we don’t change policing, bring it out of the dark ages of bullying, lying, deceiving the public at large, we will continue to get wrongful arrests and convictions while the most dangerous criminals roam free.
It is unfortunate that Werner has to stay in prison while the politics of his wrongful conviction play out. It’s also a shame that ICE wants to incarcerate him and deport him to any country of their choosing, Sudan? Rawanda? Which they have done to others, the minute he steps out of prison. The system is powerful and corrupt. Their corruption is how they rate their ‘toughness’.
None of these agencies are “Tough on Crime!” as they like to pretend. They are brutal on innocence and deadly in protecting their infallibility.
All of this needs to change.
We cannot tolerate corruption and we cannot allow any authority or agency to be led by people who lack integrity. We also cannot allow abuses by those in authority to go unpunished. Losing their job, their badge, their status is not in any way, making them “suffer enough”. Measure their cozy retirements with the suffering they have inflicted on the innocent, the dangers they abetted in the communities.
We have to set a standard that gives consequences to those who abuse the trust we place in them and the powers and authority we grant to them. If we cannot enforce rules and laws against those who are in high positions, we are simply allowing ourselves to be run by mobsters we pay.
Society needs to wake up. There’s more coming.

Global PTSD

Tomorrow is the Biggest NO KINGS DAY yet. You might want to find an event close to you, or just make a sign and stand by the road. The current regime in the White House is shredding all semblance of Justice, Dignity, Compassion and weakening the USA in the eyes of our enemies and allies alike.
Using ICE as his personal thugs to terrorize citizens in major (Democratic leaning) cities, and now our airports, where overworked, unpaid (until today?) TSA agents are “being assisted” by ICE thugs strutting around, in full battle rattle (except for the helmets), staring at their phones, leaning against walls, sitting in break rooms --- essentially a parade of cosplayers of no use to anyone, but who are receiving full pay.
I understand (we all should by now) that there was money in the budget to pay TSA from the more than $10B in the ICE Slush fund, but that f47 withheld it from them in order to pressure congress to fund even more money for ICE (whose budget and pay now exceeds that of our underpaid military, who are being put in harm’s way in the unnecessary war f47 started in Iran), and he wants his major Voter Suppression laws passed so that only White Males will have ease of voting while others, especially married women, will have to bring in passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce papers, new marriage certificates (repeat for every divorce and remarriage) in order to prove whom they are—to the polling place.
Yeah. If you ever had a name change, you not only have to prove the steps at registration, but again when you go to vote. Legal name change? Adopted? Start digging through old paperwork, write to the Department of Vital Statistics in whichever state you were born in, and/or divorced in and/or remarried in, at your own expense and suffer the wait time, and maybe, MAYBE the poll workers, which Republicans plan to have ICE Storm Troopers leaning over, will accept your proof of identification as legit. Maybe they won’t.
Got brown skin? Not White Enough Skin? You can be physically yanked out of line and they don’t think (but they act) to deny you your right to vote and can abduct you as they have tens of thousands of legitimate citizens and residents all over the country, and shuffle you from site to site for months or years, because republicans in congress refuse to allow a bill to pass or even be heard on the floor, that would legally restrict them to having to act within your constitutional rights.
Bad enough these domestic terrorists are staining our cities and terrorizing communities and abusing children. They act as if they are immune from consequences. They aren’t, but it will come too late for millions by the time each case slow rolls through courts, and individuals can’t afford attorneys and attorneys can’t afford to chase their clients who are shuffled across the country from site to site without notice and without notification to counsel.
So, let’s, while we’re at it, bomb Iran, make up stories about them crying for negotiations (clearly, they are not) and also lying to other nations saying that the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has a strangle hold on, is safe passage for their cargos and/or the US Navy can and will give safe passage by escort to them… f47 telling them to be bold/brave whatever, and trust his words… only to find 16 ships who did try, bombed, burning and sinking because everything he says is a lie.
It’s not just cities, not just states that are being terrorized by the stupidest, most corrupt man ever to sit in the WH, it’s the world. Global PTSD as fuel becomes scarce, fertilizer that farmers rely on to grow their crops is held hostage in that “don’t care, don’t need it” Strait of Hormuz, which will lead to famines in smaller countries and food shortages, higher prices in the US, destabilizing the world economy, for no good reason. “Sinking ships is fun!”
Iran is not Venezuela. Venezuela was easy. It was already half broken from the decades of corruption. Iran is a nation of 9 Million and they are highly educated, highly skilled, better armed, and capable of both defending themselves and attacking their neighbors (our allies?), making all of the above, worse not just for the NOW times, but for generations to come.
Global PTSD for all. You can’t think straight, you can’t remember small things or big things, you’re fatigued, tired, irritable and unable to sleep well. Your health is deteriorating. None of this is short term.
All of this is so he and his family and a few select friends, can make billions more dollars for their own amusement. They have been fleecing the nation since Day One of his administration. Those fake lawsuits against major entities, universities, media outlets that caved so quickly the dust cloud made us think Day was Night? Those billions and millions they paid off to get out of it (which every stockholder should sue them for, BTW) went straight into his pockets.
The firing of FBI agents who investigated his crimes from last time he was in office? Including the agents who were specialists in cyber warfare, the Middle East, and Crimes against Children? All of them gone… fired just before he attacked Iran, just for funzies! And Iran has one of the most sophisticated cyber warfare systems on the planet. (Just wait until they shut down major utilities in entire states--- just for funzies) We have no one in the top agencies that are supposed to protect us, able to defend against what’s coming. They can hit banks, hospitals, any system they want now.
Kash Patel has taken the most elite agents of the FBI, the level high enough to be called in on terrorist task forces to prevent attacks, investigate terrorists, and is using them as special body guards for his gf, who also sends them out to pick up her dry cleaning, give rides to her friends, pick up her pizza orders. She also gets to fly special on the FBI private jets!
Isn’t putting the most unqualified class clowns in charge of our National Security fun and reassuring?
And add to that the cowardly republican party that has purged itself of any members with integrity, intelligence or even common sense and dignity, holding enough power in the House and Senate, to allow this to go on by refusing to stop any of it. Their power is their cowardice and corruption.
The USA is being fleeced by the biggest conman ever to hit the Big Time. He literally falls asleep during cabinet meetings where they are supposed to be discussing his illegal war against Iran, but which he detours into long, drawn out ramblings about Sharpie pens, gold drapes, his “Ballroom”, which is being constructed over the wreckage of the East Wing which he literally took a wrecking ball to, without permission. He thinks he’s a king and the Republican Party as it exists today, is happy to let him destroy everything this nation had built up until now.
He’s doing bigger and more destructive, more vindictive, dumber shit in part to change the topic of news reporting from the Epstein Files reporting that now is revealing his name is mentioned more than one MILLION times, and with credible reports of him raping and beating girls as young as 13, possibly even younger. Way to Go!
No moral outrage from Republicans. Not a peep. Those who do raise their voice against him are primaried and vilified by their own party. What does that make the Entire Republican Party? Look who they are protecting, covering for, and obeying to the extreme detriment of everyone in the USA, and ruining of our global/international reputation, as our allies no longer trust us on ANYTHING.
That doesn’t get repaired. That will take generations to even begin to regain our standing in the world. Our biggest strength was never in our military, but in our alliances. Those ill-conceived Gulf Wars that republicans are so proud of? Over 20 other nations stepped in with their blood and treasure to support us and because we lied to them.
That fragile trust was hanging by a thread and those threads have all been severed by f47 and his betrayal of every ally, breaking of every treaty and promise --- because he wants to be King of the World! And Republicans are loyal to him and him alone. They are weak. They are corrupt. If you vote for Republicans, you vote for more of the suffering you maybe still don’t recognize is their handiwork.
Your costs have sky rocketed. Gas, Groceries and healthcare, if you can get any of it, will bankrupt your family, but it will make him and his billionaire buddies, even wealthier (and that’s what counts! Right?)
RW Billionaires taking over the media and choking off any truth that looks bad on them. Nothing is forever once the billionaires get to play with it. They are all becoming the battered, beaten dead mice that the cats toss around to make them appear animated, but we all know they are dead.
Global PTSD is real. It’s affecting you now. You are angry and your anger is likely being misdirected. Republicans give you alternate targets: Transgender people! Immigrants! Non-White people! Non-Christian! The Poor! The Homeless! The sick! The Disabled! The WOMEN! They want you to think that the source of your suffering resides in the existence of people who just want to live their lives, just like you do. They don’t want you looking at the source of your sorrows and suffering: Their corruption.
NO KINGS DAY is your chance to take aim with your words and outrage, at the very source, the core of your displeasure and suffering—The Corrupt Republican Party and their pants shitting leader, Donald Trump.
They campaigned against “Woke” as if waking up to what is real and happening around you and all of us, was a bad thing. As if people coming together to right the wrongs of the past that have led to the greater wrongs of the present, was a bad thing.
Media, owned by the billionaires, sneered at “woke” and gave you a silly rhyme repeated over and over “Go Woke, Go Broke!” in the same way they chanted “Lock Her Up” about the woman who was qualified and had no criminal record all the while he had a history of fraud, failing, and corruption. So y’all chanted and laughed and laughed…
Is it funny now? Are you laughing now? Or have you opened your eyes to the dead seriousness of your situation and the situation the entire nation is in?
Don’t misdirect your anger. Don’t let anyone misdirect your anger. Stand up for yourself. Dare to be seen standing up for yourself. Or cower and remain useful to those who exploit cowardice every hour to make themselves richer and more powerful.

Listen to the Podcast
This is a brief one from me. I’m going to drop a couple of links here. One is to the podcast by one of Werner’s attorneys, and it gives a clear review of their case for Werner’s actual Innocence and the petition to release him while the prosecution side ponders if they want to refile charges or not.
They have NO case, and it would be purely punitive for them to do that, but we’re talking North Dakota and a prosecution that never should have proceeded in the first place. Keeping Werner locked up is just another bullying move by a man who bullied him all his life and is using the judicial system to bully him now.
It is the first case I have ever heard of where the conviction in a homicide was overturned. That has to sting. The (IMO) disrespectful treatment the prosecution showed the court leading up to the hearing was rather shocking.
The judge considered every word of what was presented, examined the facts and rendered a very deep, thorough ruling when he overturned the conviction.
Typically, when a conviction is overturned, the prisoner is released in short order. This one is stalling.
I’m not privy to the behind the scenes cogs and wheels, and my opinion is based on what I see and hear, just like you all.
I do know that the terrorist organization known as ICE had a deportation order for him based on his conviction. Now that that conviction is overturned, I would think their warrant would be nullified and they would withdraw it. But, this is the same agency that hires trigger happy types with sketchy backgrounds and give them a fraction of the training that used to be mandatory. You’ve seen the results in Minneapolis.
I learned from listening to the podcast that Werner’s father was a US citizen. I thought that would make him a US Citizen when he immigrated here at the age of 6 or 7, but ICE is what they are and that part needs to be sorted out in court.
I do know that Werner Is disabled now. His treatment in prison has left him wheelchair bound only able to walk short distances with a cane. He’s neither a flight risk, if they do decide to try him again, nor is he a convicted murderer so he should be released, either way. Let the man breathe fresh air. It’s been over 30 years FFS.

There is a legit GoFundMe page set up for Werner. To help him get his life in order. Prison doesn’t give you a payout when they turn you loose. And 30 yrs in prison didn’t exactly let him build up a pension. Every dollar helps. He’s coming out into a world he hasn’t set foot in for over 30 years.
